KARACHI: Criticizing the Karachi-based political party, Nominated Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair Umar on Wednesday said Muttahida Qaumi Movement could not understand (the nature of) Karachi, ARY News reported
“For only 200 government employments, a hundred and thousands of jobs were blocked,” he said while exclusively talking to ARY News.
Giving credit of the improved law and order situation in Karachi to the prime minister, he said peace in the city has to be made permanent.
“Measures are afoot to further improve the law and order situation of the metropolis,” he said adding that Karachi Operation was launched after consultation with all the stakeholders.
Muhammad Zubair Umar, who until now was serving as chairman of Privatisation Commission, vowed to work for the betterment of the biggest city of Pakistan.
